What's new in SushiFlow

New features and improvements, newest first.

November 2026

  1. "Clear filters" now only clears search, category and the other filters, and leaves you on the tab you chose. It also no longer appears on the Mine tab when nothing is filtered.

    Try it
  2. After you assign, move or delete a roll, set or ingredient, the count under each category in Manage categories updates immediately. Deleting or renaming a category also updates the rolls and sets lists straight away.

  3. Rolls, sets and ingredients now have a "No category" filter pill whenever some of them aren’t in a category, so you can find them and assign one. If you haven’t created any categories yet, the add and edit forms now say so and point you to Manage categories, instead of offering only "No category" without explanation.

  4. Tapping a roll or set on the kitchen display now lifts that card over a blurred board, at full screen height, so the whole recipe is in view without the other cards around it. Tap outside it to go back. The cards themselves are more compact: ingredient names fit on one line and the bottom bar takes a single row.

  5. Signing in now opens a dashboard instead of the landing page. It shows what needs your attention, how many rolls and sets are at each stage, what the kitchen display is showing and the dishes you edited last. New accounts get a short checklist to their first costed dish.

  1. Publishing a roll or set now asks where it belongs in the shared catalogue.

    Try it
  2. Open your tech cards on a kitchen tablet with a QR code, optionally locked with a PIN. The board shows only rolls and sets marked “In menu”, with weights and cooking steps but no prices or drafts, and it can run full screen.

    Try it
  3. The sets list now shows average cost, average margin and how many sets are below your target.

  4. In a team, every roll and set has its own discussion: the chef proposes, the technologist checks, the owner approves, all on the dish rather than in a messenger. You can edit or delete your own comments, and the sidebar shows which dishes have something new.

    Try it
  5. Select several ingredients, rolls or sets to change their category or delete them at once; rolls and sets can change status too. Selected rolls can become a new set.
