Terms of Use
Last updated:
These terms govern your use of SushiFlow. They are short and in plain language, because the service is free and small. Using the service means you accept them.
1. Who you are dealing with
SushiFlow is operated by Serhii Turchyn, an individual based in Ukraine (“we”, “us”). There is no registered company behind the service at present. You can reach us at hello@sushiflow.app.
2. What the service is
SushiFlow is a web application for building recipes and tech cards, costing them, assembling sets, and printing cards for a kitchen. It is free to use.
The Pro plan shown on the pricing page is not available yet. Nothing is being charged and no payment details are collected. If paid plans launch, these terms will be updated and you will be told before anything is charged to you.
3. Your account
- You need an account to create your own content. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider.
- Give a real email address — it is how we reach you about your account.
- Keep control of your sign-in. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- An account is for one person. Do not share credentials; use the kitchen tablet link if you need a shared screen.
- You must be 18 or older to use the service.
4. Your content stays yours
The recipes, prices, photos and everything else you enter remain yours. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process and display that content for the purpose of operating the service for you — and, if you choose to publish something, to show it in the public catalogue labelled with your display name. That licence ends for any item when you unpublish or delete it.
You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload. Photographs in particular: please do not upload images you did not take or licence.
5. Our content
The official catalogue — the ingredient library, the official rolls and sets — together with the software, the design and the SushiFlow name are ours.
You may use anything from that catalogue freely in your own kitchen and on your own menu. That is what it is for. You may not scrape it, copy it out in bulk, republish it as a dataset, or resell it.
6. The numbers are an aid, not a source of truth
Costs, yields, food-cost percentages and weights are calculated from figures you enter and from reference data that can be incomplete, regional, or out of date. Treat them as a working aid.
You remain responsible for your own pricing decisions, for weighing and portioning in your kitchen, for allergen and nutrition information given to your customers, and for compliance with food safety and labelling law. In particular, do not use a printed tech card as your only allergen reference.
7. Acceptable use
Do not:
- upload unlawful content, or content that infringes anyone else’s rights
- try to reach data belonging to other users, or to bypass the limits and permissions in the app
- scrape the site or hammer it with automated requests
- interfere with the service, its moderation, or other people’s use of it
8. Publishing and moderation
Publishing to the public catalogue is optional and is reviewed. We may reject, hide or unpublish anything, and may withdraw publishing rights from an account, at our discretion. Rejected content remains yours and stays visible to you in your own workspace.
9. The service will change
Free plan limits, such as how many of your own tech cards you may keep, and the features available can change. We will give notice where we reasonably can, but the service is free and under active development: expect features to be added, changed and occasionally removed, and expect downtime from time to time.
10. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, with no warranty of any kind. We do not promise uptime, and we do not promise that data will never be lost.
Keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose — print or export the tech cards your kitchen depends on.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent Ukrainian law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profit, lost data, or for decisions you take on the basis of the service’s calculations. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Ending it
You can stop at any time. Settings lets you delete all of your content, or your whole account; deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts the service or its other users at risk. Where the situation allows it, we will tell you first.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes with them, and significant changes will be announced in the app. Continuing to use SushiFlow after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, delete your account.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine, and disputes belong to the Ukrainian courts. If you use the service as a consumer resident in the EEA, the mandatory consumer protections of your own country still apply to you.
